‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ Blooper Reel, Deleted Scenes Released

America

Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s blooper reel has been released ahead of the blockbusters DVD and Blu-ray release on September 9.

Alongside clips of Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson fluffing their lines, Marvel have also released several scenes that had to be cut from the film too.

You can check out Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s blooper reel below:

It’s the usual blooper reel fare. You get to see How I Met Your Mother’s Cobie Smulders, who plays Maria Hill in the Marvel universe, struggle with a complicated line and then have Samuel L. Jackson, who has portrayed Nick Fury for a number of films now, joke with her about her mistake.

Then Scarlett Johansson completely flubs a line about a ballistic missile, Smulders gives the thumbs up to camera, and Evans and Johansson struggle to get through an intense scene that involved the two being extremely close to each other. Even Robert Redford, the legendary screen star who iconically portrayed the Sundance Kid in the classic 1969 western, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, proves that he isn’t above making a mistake as he is seen messing up a take too.

Meanwhile you can also peruse some of the deleted scenes for The Winter Soldier that didn’t make it to the big screen but have now been uploaded for viewers:

These see Maria Hill being questioned by Maximiliano Hernandez’s Jasper Sitwell about Captain America and Natasha Romanoff’s undercover expedition in an Apple Store. She makes fun of Sitwell and is then immediately taken off the case because of her prior working relationship with Rogers.

Meanwhile we also learn how Cap lost his famous suit, while it’s then revealed where he bought his hoodie and jogging attire from.

The sequel to 2011′s Captain America: The First Avenger was both a critical and commercial triumph when it was released in April. It currently holds an 89% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics praising how suspenseful and thrilling it was in equal measures.

Antony and Joe Russo’s film also went on to gross the fourth highest box office gross of 2014, with its $713.9million total only being bettered by Maleficent’s $728.1million, X-Men: Days Of Future Past’s $741.5million and Transformers: Age Of Extinction’s $1.06billion. However, it looks likely that Guardians Of The Galaxy, Marvel’s 10th instalment to its cinematic universe, could rival Captain America 2′s total though.

What did you think of Captain America: The Winter Soldier? Did you prefer it to Guardians Of The Galaxy?
