Cara Delevingne ATTACKS Paparazzi and is going to play the lead in a Beach Boys Musical

ll admit that when I hear the Beach Boys singing about how they wish we all could be California girls, Cara Delevingne isn't the first woman I think of. She's not even the first acting supermodel I'd think of (sup, Kate Upton and Brooklyn Decker).



But it's the English-born-and-bred Delevingne who's won the female lead in All Summer Long, a new movie musical about the iconic band. And with this, it's official: The girl is on her way to a film career. Consider the evidence:



Back in April, we reported that she scored a role in the upcoming Peter Pan epic Pan. Though there's still no word on the nature of her part, I'm holding out for a sulky Tinkerbell situation. She's already shot London Fields, a star-stacked thriller with Johnny Depp, Theo James, and Amber Heard, and The Face of an Angel, an indie drama premiering at the Toronto Film Festival next month. And there's Tulip Fever, a period-piece romance that puts Delevingne on the same roster as Dame Judi Dench and Christoph Waltz. Not too shabby.



If she turns out to be great at her new day job, the Academy may have to consider a new Oscars category for expressive brows.
