He’s had quite a climb to worldwide fame, and Drake presented an impressive bill of top artists to illustrate his journey at the 5th annual OVO Fest last night (August 4).
The “Take Care” hitmaker welcomed Lauryn Hill as the opening act, followed by Trey Songz, J. Cole, YG, DJ Khaled, Usher, 50 Cent and G-Unit as part of the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre action.
During the course of the evening, Drake brought his mother out onstage in her wheelchair to help celebrate the five years of OVO Fest.
However, even Drizzy had to watch his mouth around mom- he told the crowd, “This year’s about to be a muthaf*cka,” before correcting himself, “Sorry, excuse my language.”
