Yet with age comes wisdom and Britney Spears is no longer the teenaged pop star looking for guidance, but is instead a mature, and dare we say, beautiful woman who’s recent appearances seem to show that she knows where she’s going now.

This latest lingerie line, called Intimate Britney Spears, is showing that Britney knows where her best assets lie and how to utilize them. Spears has been toning and shaping herself for her latest concert tour and also, we now know, for photo showcases of her lingerie.

The Intimate Britney Spears collection will showcase “flirtatious undies that range from provocative chemises and corsets to comfy boy shorts and camis,” says E Online. These suggestive Britney Spears lingerie pieces enter stores on September 9 in the U.S. and on the 26th in Europe and Canada.

E! also quotes Britney Spears as saying “”It is so important for women to feel confident, sexy and empowered, especially in those private moments with the one they love. The Intimate Britney Spears will do exactly that. Each line in the collection is beautiful with vintage inspired details, and fit for all women.”

Britney has been teasing fans for weeks on Instagram, showcasing intimate photos as Spears hinted at her lingerie line. US Magazine reports that those Instagram photos in lingerie were more than just a tease for the Piece of Me concert tour.

So far, Britney Spears has proven herself to be a smart entrepreneur, turning her personal brand into successful product lines over the years. Those have included perfume, branded clothing, and more. Moving into lingerie seems a natural choice for the entrepreneur singer. Spears’ reputation for vague clothing and suggestive movements make this lingerie line a little less surprising.

As it turns out, the untouched “ab shot” Britney Spears showed Inquisitr on Instagram was the latest in these lingerie shoots.
