Tennis player Serena Williams grabs the title, beating recently-banned competitor Maria Sharapova to the top spot. The Russian star - who lost her deal with Nike in January - had held on for an impressive 11 years.
Serena, 34, is estimated to have earned an incredible $28.9million (AED106,148,255) from her sports winnings and endorsement deals.
Other female athletes on the list include UFC star Ronda Rousey as well as NASCAR driver Danica Patrick.
