Top Chef Season 12 Episode 3 saw the remaining contestants compete in the legendary baseball shrine that is Fenway Park, which surely was a thrill for Boston fans.
But what about the judges, and the aspiring culinary greats?
The Red Sox theme was omnipresent in the installment - Top Chef Season 12 Episode 3 was even titled "Curse of the Bambino" - but it wasn't the whole story.
The judges were joined by former Red Sox legend Dennis Eckersley and the Boston Globe's Dan Shaughnessy, a pair of fitting additions for this week.
So what did we see when it was time to take the field?
Another Sudden Death Quickfire Challenge was prominently featured, as the hopefuls were made to use tea to enhance dishes for the guest judge Ming Tsai.
Tea? You know, Boston Tea Party? Nice tie-in there.
Then it was off to one of baseball's most famous facilities for the Elimination Challenge, in which the chefs had to incorporate ballpark fare into fine dining.
If that sounds tough, that's because it was.
These are potential Hall of Fame candidates, though, and they know how to rise for the occasion. So who thrived and survived and who flamed out Wednesday?
We're not going to give away the outcome here, because that's no fun, and you can watch Top Chef online for yourself to see what was cooking this week.
