Contestants, and pounds, are dropping like flies on NBC, but The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 8 continued to up the ante on the remaining athletes.
On The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 8, the men and women seeking a return to their sports Glory Days were tasked with a very formidable challenge.
The last one standing on these giant treadmills will be the winner, while the losers fall in the water. The speed goes up over time, pushing them harder.
Rondalee falls for White, while Damien and Scott duel to the end with Scott ultimately pulling out the win for Red, besting Blue for Red's first victory.
The penalties are going to Las Vegas, the land of temptation (White), and cleaning up the house with no working out until the hard labor is done (Blue).
The Las Vegas trip means conjuring up a lot of memories and plenty of temptations for the team members, so this is not the fun getaway it might look like.
If you watch The Biggest Loser online, you know the show often has a way of bringing out the emotions as well as the physical tasks to test its cast members.
Bob, meanwhile, is working Jackie and Gina like crazy, while the Blue squad laments its cleanup duty and Dolvett is amped that his Red team prevailed.
The teams that lost the challenge are determined not to let themselves lose ground, though, setting up what should be an interesting weigh in at the end.
At Comeback Canyon, Jackie learns she only lost three pounds ... but Gina is only down two, so she's done. And not pleased about it to say the least.
Still, she is grateful to have been on the show and vows to continue all of her hard work. Now it's on to the weigh in for the rest of the team members ...
Rob is up first for Red, and lost 9 pounds, while Jordan ended up down 6 pounds, Scott lost a total of five and last up is Blake, who lost only 3 pounds.
White needs to shed 28 pounds. Rondalee contributed 3 pounds, JJ kicked in 7, Sonya 6, Toma 8 and Woody 7, keeping the team safe from elimination!
The Blue team's two members need to drop a combined 11 pounds. Lori only lost 3 pounds, but Damien shed 9 to save that team from being booted as well!
That means Blake is going home from the vanquished Red team, although Dolvett says he still believes in her and we wish her nothing but the best.
