The Fashion Police is already in hot water for last night’s red carpet commentary, but are they losing a panel member? Looks like they might.
Kelly Osbourne has come under fire after decidedly racist remarks were made about actress Zendaya Coleman’s hair at the Oscars. The only problem? The racist remarks came from Kelly’s co-panelist Giuliana Rancic and not Osbourne.
Completely beside herself, Osbourne took to Twitter to voice her opinion and to defend herself.
I WILL NOT BE DRAGED INTO THIS! The situation is being rectified like ADULTS by both parties. I hope you can leave it to them & do the same!

Her last statement on the racist remarks made about Zendaya’s Oscar appearance, sparked questions about her future at The Fashion Police.

As the Inquisitr reported, the panel over as The Fashion Police, were making comments about popular red carpet looks. Usually the show follows the off-color tone that Joan Rivers made famous in her stand-up to make critiques about certain looks. Rancic took it to another level when she said 18-Year-old Zendaya’s hairstyle made her look like “she smells like patchouli oil and weed.”
Coleman responded to this remark on Twitter saying that her remarks were “unhelpful” and her hairstyle choice was to “remind people of color that our hair is good enough.”
Here’s the full statement Zendaya posted on Twitter. It opens with, “There is a fine line between what is funny and disrespectful. Someone said something about my hair at the Oscars that left me in awe. I was hit with ignorant slurs and pure disrespect.”

Rancic has since apologized to the star.
Dear @Zendaya, I’m sorry I offended you and others. I was referring to a bohemian chic look. Had NOTHING to do with race and NEVER would!!!

So far The Fashion Police didn’t make an official statement about the comments that took place during the special.
