In the Tunisia's Sidi Bou Said, traditional doors can be found throughout the city. Typically, the large doors are made of solid wood, and contain a smaller door within. Iron nails are used to hold the doors together, and the nails often form patterns on the doors such as the fir tree, a star shape, or an eye. Each door is different, and tells a beautiful story of this country and its people.
