He dodged a serious bullet by avoiding a premeditated murder conviction and Oscar Pistorius was instead found guilty of culpable homicide in a South African courtroom today (September 12).
Judge Thokozile Masipa continued her thorough review of the case that began on Thursday (September 11), noting that Pistorius will be sentenced on October 13th.
At that time, Oscar will learn if he’ll face simply a suspended sentence plus a fine or if he’ll be made to serve up to fifteen years in prison for his sins.
And according to eyewitnesses, Mr. Pistorius didn’t show any emotion when Judge Masipa read her decision before the Johannesburg courtroom.
