This past Sunday in Mer Rouge, Louisiana, a semi-truck was riding too low under the weight of a crane to make it over the railroad tracks. The driver was as helpless to move his vehicle as the engineers of the approaching train were to stop theirs.

Of course, the truck driver had time to make it to safety before the collision. The two men on the train, however, were seriously injured but are stable in a Shreveport hospital.

One, she didn’t stop filming and call 911 because they were right by the police department, so emergency crews were already aware of the situation.
And, two, though some people apparently find it distasteful that she put this out there for everyone to see, the town sheriff contacted her to say thanks, since the clip cleared up some questions regarding the incident.
