TV show "Nostros al Mediodía" released a video in which Diego Maradona is physically assaulting his former partner Rocío Oliva.
The video was shot by Rocío during Diego's last visit to Argentina.
In the short clip, recorded by Rocío with her cell phone, the ex-footballer can be seen in a very deteriorated state. Tempered, Diego approaches Rocío and reprimands her for using her cell phone. "Keep looking, keep looking at your phone" he shouts. "Stop dude, can't I use my phone?" Replies Oliva.
Maradona then, responds with a violent assault. "Stop, Stop hitting Diego!" Rocío desperately pleads.
Last Friday, taking notice of the existence of this video, Maradona himself in private communication with Marina Calabro (in TV Show Infama) said he did not beat Rocío, but struggled to remove the phone.
