Justin Bieber Upset After Church Concert Amid Selena Gomez Split


Justin Bieber’s split from on-off girlfriend Selena Gomez appears to be taking an emotional toll on the heartthrob.


Multiple attendees at a Hillsong United concert at The Forum in Inglewood, California, on Thursday, October 23, took to Twitter afterwards to share that they had seen Justin at the show.


Some added that the 20-year-old singer was seen participating enthusiastically during the concert, but looked upset as he left.


One Twitter user, identified as @Baby Daisy wrote, “So justin bieber came to the Hillsong concert and came out crying.”

Hillsong United is a worship band that originated from the youth ministry of the Pentecostal megachurch Hillsong Church.


Bieber has previously been spotted at Hillsong NYC and Los Angeles on other occasions and was reportedly accompanied at The Forum event by longtime friends, Ryan Good and Pastor Carl Lentz.


According to TMZ, the pastor baptized the singer in New York City earlier this year during a particularly stressful period.


It’s unclear if the Canadian singer was apparently emotional at the concert because of the service or over his reported split with Gomez.


Certainly, widely published photos of the British actor, Orlando Bloom, walking just a few paces behind the starlet at LAX airport in Los Angeles earlier this week would have been impossible for Bieber to avoid.

Bloom famously tried to punch at Bieber — and missed — in a restaurant in Ibiza, Spain, in July.


The fisticuffs was reported to have been over Bloom’s apparent belief that the “Boyfriend” singer flirted (possibly more) with his former wife, supermodel Miranda Kerr, at a fashion show in 2012.


Fast forward to a sighting of Bloom and Gomez in April at an Los Angeles comedy show, and Selena’s unfollowing of Justin on Instagram on October 1, one day after he lunched with pal model Kendall Jenner during his trip to Paris Fashion Week with the “Come & Get It” songstress.


A source later confirmed to E! News that Selena and Orlando traveled on the same flight to the youth empowerment We Day event in Vancouver, Canada. The insider also denied the two stars are dating. The outlet previously noted the stars share a mutual manager.


However, as some insightful commentators have noted, the point isn’t whether actress-singer and the Lord of The Rings actor are dating, especially as that has been denied.


Rather, it’s that Gomez and Bloom knew pictures of them together at LAX would explode the rumor mill and chose to fuel them anyway.


Although previous, breathless tabloid reports claimed Kendall and Justin’s lunch was an intimate, secret meet, it looked like anything but.


Bieber’s chauffeur driven Rolls Royce was trailed by a pack of paparazzi when he picked Jenner up, and a later video reveal of their meal posted by another diner showed the 18-year-old model seemingly bored to tears.


Selena and Kendall fell out during their April visit to the Coachella Arts and Music Festival.


It’s reported the Latina starlet saw Justin’s Paris meal with Kendall as disrespectful. This seems to have prompted her LAX rendezvouz with Bloom, which is unlikely to be anything more than a photo-op.


Mail Online reports Justin swung by Beverly Hills’ SLS boutique hotel on Friday morning for breakfast.

A fan-taken picture of the singer inside the hotel revealed Justin was joined by Good and Pastor Lentz.


Later Friday, the singer put in some time sparring at the legendary Ten Goose boxing gym in California and posted a clip of the session to Instagram.


Both Lentz and Bieber were later spotted arriving at a Los Angeles air strip on Saturday in the singer’s reportedly $500,000 Roll Royce, before boarding a private jet.

Once aboard, the Biebs posted a non-captioned, melancholy selfie from the jet.


The singer’s religious activities continued in New York City. Bieber was seen at a 10 a.m service with Lentz at the Hillsong NYC church, according to multiple witnesses.






The sport loving star was later seen enjoying the NY Knicks’ open scrimmage at Madison Square Gardens with Lentz.


Naturally, he posted a video to Instagram from his courtside seat.


Perhaps, Bieber’s recent church visits and sporting outings will help him cope with his split from Gomez and the ongoing chatter?
