Master P Accuses Charlemagne Of Disrespecting Women During Live Interview

Master P publicly criticised Charlemagne Tha God during a live interview, after the latter said disparaging words about the derriere of Mercedes.

During The Breakfast Club interview, which took place in New York City and saw Master P talking to DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne, the latter made a reference to No Limit’s Mercedes, who he said had “a fat a**.”

This then prompted Master P to scold Charlamagne for his remarks.

“Don’t talk about Mercedes like that. No, she ain’t family, but still with all my people you know how I am.”

At this point, Charlamagne recognised the error of his ways and immediately apologised for his remarks. He even tried to move on. However, Master P wouldn’t let him to do so and he explained that he has always had the upmost respect for women.

“It’s about respect. Charlamagne, you know me and you go way back. When he talk about women, I ain’t gonna disrespect no hooker or nothin’. I don’t do that. I’m a man. And I don’t want no one disrespecting people I know.”

Meanwhile, during the same discussion, Master P also talked about his recent work with Lil Wayne on the song, “Power”.

Master P explained that the collaboration was instigated by Mack Maine, while he denied that he is currently trying to get Weezy to join his No Limit Forver label.

“We’ve been working on [Power]. Wayne, him and Mack Maine hit me about doing the record and we just swapped. It’s overdue. It’s all timing. Wayne’s been trying to get me on some records and I was going to do something with him and Rome [Romeo, Master P’s son] and some of the other artists back in the day, but the timing just worked out.”

Meanwhile, Master P also revealed that he would love to collaborate with various other hip-hop stars too. In fact he picked out the likes of YG, Nipsey Hussle and Troy Ave as three musicians who he would love to work on tracks with.

In fact, while talking about Troy Ave, Master P admitted that he respects the rapper for only working on projects that he likes, rather than for money. This is completely at odds with other rappers that “do a lot of desperate stuff in this industry” Master P declared.
