Angelina Jolie is speaking out for kids everywhere in her first appearance in months since her breakup from Brad Pitt. Although the actress has yet to step out in public, she did record a video for the International Criminal Court about their new policy regarding children on Friday. In the clip, Angelina highlights the cruel crimes affecting kids, saying, "The impact of crimes against children is felt down the generations . . . We know we aren't giving the best to children." She continued, "Successful prosecution and new legal benchmark, whether at the ICC or elsewhere, is part of the long and vital generational effort. That is the light in which I believe the court's new policy on children should be seen."
While Angelina has been keeping a low profile since filing for divorce from Brad, the 52-year-old actor recently made his first red carpet appearance since the split alongside costar Marion Cotillard at an Allied fan event in LA earlier this month. Marion, who is currently expecting her second child with longtime partner Guillaume Canet, shut down rumors that she was having an affair with Brad back in September, and more recently, she shot down reports for the second time during an appearance on the Today show, saying, "I don't give energy to this."
