Two sponsors threaten to end associations if Oldham Athletic sign convicted rapist Chad Evans

Chad Evans was convicted in April 2012 and sentence to 5 years. He was released in October 2014 after serving half his sentence.



Evans has maintained he is innocent and he is in the process of appealing the conviction, however this could take some time.



Oldham Boss admits it's a 'very difficult situation' for the club after they expressed interest in signing Evans.



Almost 20,000 have signed a petition, protesting his being signed by the club.
