Alt-J respond to Noel Gallagher's criticism: "It's a rite of passage"

English indie-rock band Alt-J have been the latest victims of the judging eye of Noel Gallagher.



The former Oasis member was reported saying that he was "no way a fan of Alt-J" but praised the track "Left Hand Free".



When asked why, he responded in the most Noel Gallagher way possible: "I don't know. One of them's got a moustache, and that's unacceptable."



Gus Unger-Hamilton, the member of the band with the offensive facial hair, responded saying "I'm glad he likes the song, I'm sorry he doesn't like my moustache, but it is here to stay I'm afraid." and that it's "a right of passage to get a pasting from him".
