Faith Hill had a scar on her neck on the night of the 2015 Oscars that has generated quite a bit of buzz for the country singer on social media. The initial buzz surrounding Faith and her husband, Tim McGraw, involved her new hair style and their combined looks on the red carpet. However, many people started to wonder about the new scar on Faith’s neck on social media, according to News Max.

At the big event, Faith Hill showed off her new pixie haircut that she revealed just days before at the Tom Ford fashion show during New York Fashion Week.

According to a previous Inquisitr report, Faith and Tim attended the 2015 Academy Awards for his performance. He was asked to perform “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” from Glen Campbell’s tour documentary during the event. The song was nominated for Best Original Song, but it did not take home the award.

People Magazine has revealed the reason behind the singer’s new neck scar. A source revealed to the magazine that Faith Hill had surgery last month to correct a back problem from an old injury.

“The procedure, known as an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, is generally used to relieve pain from a herniated disc.”

This is not the first surgery Faith has had on her neck. Back in 2011, the country singer had an operation on the back of her neck. For this new surgery, Faith is recovering with the aid of physical therapy.

Faith has not spoken out about this new report. Faith and Tim have been busy though. According to Taste of Country, Hill has been working on a new album since 2011, but she has not revealed a release date. Three songs that are said to be from the new album have been released, but that is all. Hill released her last solo album back in 2005.

As for the night of the 2015 Oscars, new reports have surfaced about the night, and it appears that Faith Hill and Tim McGraw partied the night away after the event ended.

According to USA Today, Tim McGraw shared about their night in a new interview. Tim and Faith have three daughters, and the girls made sure to give their parents a list of people to meet at the parties following the Oscars.

“We promised my youngest daughter that we would meet Ansel Elgort. She’s a big fan of his. So we got to say hello to him. And then we met Chris Pine. He was a really nice guy. My middle daughter is a big fan. And then Faith got to meet Cate Blanchett and talk to her for a bit. She’s a very big fan. [Aaron Rodgers and I] talked about Brett [Favre], who is a friend of mine and how great the Packers season was. I had picked Green Bay as my winning team for the Super Bowl. He’s a lot of fun. A good guy. We finally just looked at each other and said, ‘You know what, I think it’s bedtime.’ So we turned around and went (to the hotel) and went to bed…But we enjoyed the parties.”

Tim revealed that the pair turned in around 3 a.m. that morning. This is not the norm for this couple. They tend to head to bed early while raising their daughters. However, it sounds like Faith is definitely recovering from her surgery by this night on the town.
