Hailey Baldwin appeared ticked off after leaving Justin Bieber on the private island close to Grenada, which she and a group of friends jetted to last week to celebrate the superstar’s 21st birthday.
Based on tweets that the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin punched out on Tuesday, just before boarding a flight to the U.S., the model wasn’t happy about something and certainly made sure her 271,000 Twitter followers — some of which are media outlets — knew it.
While birthday boy, Justin, 21, stayed on the island with childhood pal Ryan Butler, music producers Soundz, Maejor Ali, reportedly back-on flame, Yovanna Ventura, videographer Alfredo Flores and others, Hailey tweeted up a storm.
The 18-year-old blonde didn’t name names or give away lots of details. However, she did reveal that she was leaving the island earlier than expected, and that it wasn’t because of work obligations.
Replying out of the blue to a Justin Bieber fan, who mused in a tweet whether Hailey was “sad” because she was returning to New York, Hailey went out of her way to correct that assumption.

It’s hard to imagine the Topshop model was not aware that the rumor mill would — and, in fact, is — having a field day over her tweets and their implied suggestion that she cut short her break in a gorgeous location because she was upset.
Hailey and Justin are longtime friends, and she has previously said on multiple occasions that she and the hitmaker were not romantically involved. The Canadian denied they were an item last November.
The heartthrob was at the model’s birthday party last year and presented her cake. Hailey did the same at his bash over the weekend.

However, after Hailey’s abrupt flounce from the island, gossip sites are inevitably asking whether Hailey is jealous and/or threatened that Justin is seemingly dating Yovanna again.
Bieber’s young fans tweeted questions to Hailey during her Twitter blitz. Replying to one, her answer only set off more speculation.

Then, in what appeared to be a direct diss of her recent companions back on the island, Hailey continued,

Her tweet posted the morning after Justin’s party suggests she may have been unamused by her single status.

Yovanna was first seen with Justin in Miami last March. The pair reportedly had an on and off relationship over the summer.
According to a pic posted at the Latina’s Instagram last night and a tweet from Soundz, the group are still in the Caribbean and will return to the U.S. on Thursday.
Bottom line? Hailey was certainly out of sorts before she jetted home. But, after many past denials of dating rumors, if she does have an issue with Justin romancing Yovanna, is that an unfair expectation if he has been clear that he is offering Hailey friendship?
Speaking to E! News at the amFAR gala in NYC last month, the pretty blonde clarified that she and the Biebs are pals.
“We’re just friends. I’ve known him for a very long time, since I was about 13,” Hailey said, also adding that Justin is “just going through a time in his life where he’s transitioning in a really positive way and he needs good people around him.”
She continued, “And I’m trying to be a good friend and be there for him and support him.”
Playing games and dropping loaded hints to impressionable fans on a highly public forum like Twitter seems to contradict that statement.
