You might remember Leigh Francis was one our celebrities spotted in Dubai not so long ago, and now we know why he was in the region. The British comedian was filming a commercial for mobile phone store Carphone Warehouse and used the glamorous Emirate as his backdrop.
Starting the TV advert with a scene in the desert, his alter ego, Keith Lemon, is accompanied by camels and people donning national dress, who remain with their phones practically glued to their ears throughout the whole thing. The star begins to demonstrate just how good the brand's upgrade deals are and that he chose Dubai as the location to do it because it's where people "always get what they ask for."
Next, the actor-and-TV-host hops in a gold SUV and then onto a sun lounger aboard a massive gold yacht to do some further explaining.
Anyone who has watched Celebrity Juice or Bo Selecta will love seeing Keith take to the UAE with his off-beat humor. And if you really enjoyed it, there's another version of the commercial where Keith takes to a golf range where practically everything there too is dipped in gold.
