Constantine Ratings Rebound in Second Week Back

NBC's Constantine improved this week with a 0.9 rating and a 3 share for 3.48 million viewers last night after a disappointing midseason premiere in its new time slot. That's about a 13% improvement in both overall viewers and in their key 18-49 demographic over last week's episode. It took third place in the time slot, behind CBS' Undercover Boss and ABC's Last Man Standing, according to TV By the Numbers.

The episode was based on the Hellblazer story "All His Engines" and featured longtime Justice League villain Felix Faust.

"No secret Constantine took a hit at 8 pm," Cerone tweeted after last week's disappointing numbers came in. "Sigh. Many possibilities for future. All depend on viewers. Keep watching & sharing your passion."

When fans asked about moving the show someplace like CW, Cerone said it's too early to discuss the scenarios and stated that they're partners with NBC till the network say otherwise.

That said, Cerone did tell ComicBook.com, back when the episode order was capped at 13, leaving four scripts unproduced, that one way or another, those stories would come out.

I hope the ratings will keep increasing. Damnit NBC just renew it already
