-Says he couldn't do it anymore. 1D didn't feel real to him

-Was unhappy for awhile and stayed in the band for the fans.

-He's sad because he let the fans down.

-The split was amicable. There's no drama between the guys and they're supportive.

-Said the rest of the guys are in it for the long haul and they'll be fine without him.

-Finally feels like he has control of his life now that he's left the band.

-Doesn't know if he's open to a return.

-He and Perrie are still engaged. Says she's been very supportive.

-Is working on a solo project but is in no rush to put it out anytime soon. Is going to chill and do him.
