ONTD (Not So) Original: 5 Movies To Watch On This 4th Of July

original.jpg

  • 5. Sugar & Spice: This movie has cheerleading, robbery, fraud, guns, teen pregnancy, Betty Doll masks, a white trash mom in jail, overwhelming whiteness, and Mena Suvari (who has worked on at least 6 projects with the word 'American' on their titles). A (not really) cult classic that will warm your lil 'murica luvin' hearts <3.

  • 4. Top Gun: To be honest, I never finished this movie and I have no idea what's actually about, but it involves the Navy so I guess it's very patriotic god bless. This film is mostly here for the shirtless scenes that will please our thirst ONTDers, but also entertain our self-loving and/or bitter ONTDers that will probably enjoy thinking about how all these young men (especially Val Kilmer) now look like shit. While adding this to the list I realized that 'Magic Mike' is a better option, but I was too lazy to change it up oops.

  • 3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier: Yes, I know the image above is from the the first movie, but everyone knows that the first Captain America is trash so might as well watch the less patriotic (but, I mean, it's still Captain 'MURICA so...) and yet far superior (but also overrated thanks to tumblr and y'all Stucky hoes) sequel.

  • 2. Dick: Honestly, if you haven't watched this movie you should get your american citizenship revoked! The story involves the Watergate scandal, teen white girls, dick puns, and American Princess Kirsten Dunst. It's truly the most underrated patriotic and female-driven movie ever! 'Frozen' could never!

  • 1. Drop Dead Gorgeous: Talking about American Princess Kirsten Dunst, this is the movie who sealed her american reign by crowning ha as Mount Rose American Teen Princess! The film was a box office and critical flop and yet managed to come through like an underdog (which is something America loves sometimes!) and grow to become one of the most celebrated mockumentaries evah! What kind fo inspirational story, don't y'all think? America loves Jesus, beauty pageants, winners, guns, and schemes - all of which are part of this masterpiece! When will a feature film be this patriotic?
