Finding the right weight loss diet isn’t easy. For those who have Googled “best weight loss diet,” the search engine returns over 11 million results. Since losing weight is no easy task, it’s hard to determine the best course of action to lose weight and keep it off for good.
US News & World Report reported that the best weight loss diet is one that dieters will stick with. It’s not just a diet dieters stick with for a few days or weeks until the weight comes off, but for good. One of the studies cited was a weight loss study from 2014. University of Toronto researchers took a look at 59 weight loss articles and 48 controlled weight loss studies. What they found is that those who succeeded at losing weight succeeded because they were able to stick to the diet they were on.

Tim Church, chief medical officer of ACAP Health Consulting and professor of preventative medicine at Pennington Biomedical Research Center at Louisiana State University said that dieters needed to learn to eat in a way they could sustain over a lifetime if they wanted to keep the weight off.
“If you can’t eat a certain way for the rest of your life, that diet is an exercise in futility. Find a way of eating that becomes your new normal, your new lifestyle. The goal is to find a way of life that happens to improve weight loss. That’s the program that will work.”
As previously reported in Inquisitr, weight loss doesn’t help dieters deal with their insecurity issues or make them feel better about themselves if they still see themselves the way they were before they lost the weight. Although weight loss can be dealt with using surgery, the surgery won’t help dieters deal with what’s going on inside.

Live Science reported that using exercise for weight loss can be tricky. To succeed, users must eat just enough food to maintain muscle mass, but not enough to pack on any pounds. It may be far fewer calories than dieters expect. The important point is to not restrict calories too dramatically. Otherwise, it may cause problems for dieters and affect muscle mass.
Zee News reported that it was possible to achieve weight loss for one month without exercise. The simplest way to do it is to make small, gradual changes to diet. Some of the recommendations were to stop drinking diet soda as it can actually cause health problems.
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, and it also helps dieters to feel fuller longer throughout the day. Get rid of junk food in the kitchen and replacing it with healthy fruit as snacks makes it easier to avoid temptation. For those who drink alcohol, cutting the number of drinks in half can also help with weight loss as it is an easy way to cut calories.

Yahoo Health reported that there were eight foods dieters needed to avoid if they wanted to achieve weight loss. Dieters need to avoid eating snacks that are only carbs. A combination of healthy fats, protein and carbs will help dieters feel fuller longer. It also helps avoid spikes in blood sugar.
Another way to achieve weight loss is to avoid eating frozen meals. Although they are convenient, frozen meals often contain a lot of sodium. Sodium makes dieters bloated. Instead, eat pre frozen leftovers. The problem with frozen dinners is that a lot of calories are packed into small portions and can leave dieters feeling unsatisfied.
