Table for one? Giada De Laurentiis and husband Todd Thompson have announced their divorce after 11 years of marriage, she announced on her official site.
The Food Network chef, 44, married her fashion designer spouse wed in May of 2003. The two welcomed their only child, Jade Marie, in March 2008.
"After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage," Giada wrote in a statement, which she also shared on Facebook.
"Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness," she continued, Giada says they both want the best for each other and that helps.
"Our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family's happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths."
"Todd and I share a beautiful daughter and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything," the celeb chef's statement read.
In conclusion, she's grateful for the people in her life: "We are so thankful for our friends and family, and really appreciate the support in this time of change."
Here's wishing them the best, along with the other celebrity break-ups of 2014, some of which were a lot less amicable than it sounds like this one is.
