Bobbi Kristina Brown: Is She Awake?

According to her famous father, Bobbi Kristina Brown has taken a major step toward recovery.

During a concert in Texas on Saturday night, Bobby Brown announced to the crowd that his child is "awake," adding that "she's watching me."

Because Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically-induced coma since she mysteriously passed out on January 31, and because there's been recent talk of taking Bobbi off life support, the audience went wild upon hearing Brown's assessment.

But is it accurate?

A Brown family insider tells People Magazine "there's been no change" in the 22-year old's status.

"We're still hoping and praying that God will perform a miracle. We are leaving it in God's hands," the source says.

HOWEVER, aunt Tina Brown took to Facebook shortly after Bobby Brown's concert message and wrote:

"So many messages,sorry can't answer them all right now but I will get to them later..just allow me this time with my family,,yes,she woke up and is no longer on life support!!!!!:):)

"God is good!!thanks for your prayers,,still a process,but she is going to be ok:):):):).""

Bobby Brown has mostly remained by his daughter's bedside ever since her unconscious body was found in her home’s bathtub.

But he has gradually been entering back into the public eye, making his first public appearance on April 11 at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles.

Various relatives of Whitney Houston's only child have spoken out over the past several weeks, with hope decreasing by the day.

Bobbi was moved to a long-term care facility in Georgia awhile after the incident and failed to respond well when doctors initially tried awakening her from her coma.

Let's all hope and pray she really is awake and on a path to good health.
