Expect to see a lot more famous faces in the Middle East because Madame Tussauds is coming to Dubai. The waxwork museum already has branches in London, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Wuhan, but the region will finally host its own version of the popular brand next year.
Merlin group's venture in the UAE comes from the people at DXB Entertainments (formerly known as Dubai Parks and Resorts); they bring Legoland, Legoland Waterpark, motiongate, Bollywood Parks, Riverland and Lapita Hotel to the Emirate. Madame Tussauds will be part of the Bluewaters Island development which will also be home to The Dubai I ferris wheel.
Have a look at some of the recognizable faces you might be able to spot when it comes to the region in 2017.
