He’s been rocking crowds for the past four decades, but Bret Michaels had to cut his concert short and be taken off stage in Manchester, New Hampshire last night (May 29) due to low blood sugar.
Apparently, the “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” singer only made it through three songs before guitarist/longtime friend Pete Evick noticed something was awry.
Evick told press, “I’ve never seen a look like the one on his face as if I was a complete stranger. He basically had to be dragged off the stage in his sickest of conditions.”
“When I rushed to the bus he could barely speak. Bret begged me to apologize to the fans and seemed only concerned for them.”
Later, Michaels’ team tweeted, “Sending a shout out 2 all the paramedics both on & off duty who assisted Bret tonight. No words can thank you enough for ur help.”
