Former Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is proof that hard work pays off when it comes to diet, exercise and massive amounts of steroids.
Just kidding about the last part. Probably. His beefy build and fiery temper definitely made you wonder at times, but that's neither here nor there.
The 28-year-old reality star didn't just put on weight by sitting around. He recently revealed that his muscles had atrophied since falling ill in 2013.
However, he definitely didn't help his own cause. After posting a before-and-after photo taken in the span of a month, Ortiz-Magro told his Instagram fans:
"I really let myself go after I got sick last year. It's been a long road. I am nowhere near where I want to be shape wise, but I feel better than I ever did."
The Bronx native was hospitalized with kidney stones last year. It got so bad, he told his Twitter fans, that he couldn't even keep food down for a time.
Those days are thankfully gone. How did he get his body back so quickly? "Weight, cardio and abs 5-6 times a week," the Jersey Shore star tweeted.
Asked if he's taking any supplements, Ortiz-Magro tweeted, "I was taking TrigX which is a NO2 and than animal pax for all my vitamins etc."
Exercise isn't the only way he added muscle and trimmed fat, though. "Dieting is such a big part!" he tweeted. "If it tastes good don't eat it lol."
LOL! On Instagram, the ripped Ortiz-Magro added, "#DietingIsKEY #CardioSavedMyGoodYearTire #TransformationThursday #letTheAbuseBegin #WowYouGotFatAsFk #AllThatDrinkingAtTheShore #DoIneedToLookLikeICarryLugguageForALiving #ItFeelsGoodToWipeMyOwnAss #GymFlow #LastTimeIhadASixPackWasWhenIpassedOutOnTheBeachWithACoronaOnMyChest."
Hashtag we get the point. Now let's pay tribute to the glory days/daze of Ron-Ron with a look at some of THG's most memorable celebrity fights:
