With a host like Chris Rock, there is sure to be some hilarious humor thrown around and tonight's (June 29) 2014 BET Awards were no exception.
The 49-year-old funnyman kicked off the evening in Los Angeles with a jab at notoriously racist LA Clippers owner, Donald Sterling. "An 83-year-old white man doesn't like black people. Is that news? Come on!"
"A black man couldn't look him in the eye until he was 45. The first black man he ever met, he got for Christmas," Rock continued.
Sterling wasn't the only victim. Chris also poked fun at Oprah Winfrey's role in "Lee Daniels' The Butler" and said, "Oprah Winfrey should have got an Oscar, that acting job was amazing because she had to imagine she was poor."
Finally, Chris joked about "Scandal" and the show's white president. "White people get to tune in and feel good. For one hour, it's just back to normal."
