Kicking off the 2014 BET Awards, Pharrell Williams took over the Nokia Theatre with a rendition of his latest single "Come Get it Bae."
His duet partner Miley Cyrus was noticeably absent, but Missy Elliott made up for the disappointment with a surprise entrance on stage to join the "Happy" singer.
After singing with Williams, Missy performed a verse from her 2003 single “Pass the Dutch.”
As for Miss Cyrus, she was at home making a shrine for her Alaskan Klee Kai puppy Floyd who passed away in April and documenting the artwork on Instagram.
