Stepping out for the first time with her new girlfriend Amanza Smith Brown, the 43-year-old star provided plenty of man candy for the ladies outside Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre as he rubbed shoulders with his famous peers ahead of the main event. Taye and his ex-wife Idina Menzel called it quits after an 11-year marriage earlier this year.
It’s going to be a great night filled with inspired speeches and plenty of glitz and glamour as BET welcomes performers like Robin Thicke, Usher, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne to the stage.
Furthermore, Lionel Richie will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his generous musical contributions to the industry over the past five decades.
