Angelina Jolie ‘Unbroken,’ Gets Back To Work Following Car Accident

Angelina Jolie was back to work on Tuesday following a car accident that could have left her seriously injured. According to Mail Online, Jolie was all smiles in New York City to promote her new film, Unbroken, without any sign of injury or trauma. The actress attended a luncheon, and didn’t seem the least bit phased by the bit of bad luck she experienced days earlier. Obviously accidents happen, and while it may have been frightening, Jolie is okay, and she has places to go, and people to see!

“The 39-year-old director was all business in a conservative grey blazer and matching long skirt. [She] opted for a demure ensemble wearing a white blouse that was tucked into her lengthy garment, [and] finished her outfit with a pair of nude high heels,” reports Mail Online.

Angelina Jolie is busy getting to word about Unbroken, but early reviews suggest that the film won’t be creating any kind of Oscar buzz for the actress. According to the New York Times, the film is long, and too drawn out.

“At 137 minutes, the film is long and relentless in its depiction of the suffering that Mr. Zamperini, played by Jack O’Connell, endured: surviving a plane crash, a month in a lifeboat, then a sadistic corporal at a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp.”

Jolie has been in the news a lot lately. Of course the media has been focusing on her marriage to Brad Pitt, since this is the first film that she has promoted as a married woman. And Jolie has been fairly candid about life as a wife, but with the happy times comes not so happy times. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, paparazzi caught Brangelina in the middle of an apparent fight, and the photos circulated online.

“When Brad threw up his arms, you could see the frustration on his face. He was clearly exasperated with her. They kept talking over each other and putting their hands up in anger. They were upset but getting nowhere. Angie looked like she was on the verge of tears,” said a source.

The two seem to be okay now, however. Jolie has been speaking very highly of her husband, and he has continued to support her, and her new film.

Unbroken will be released on Dec. 25.
