My friend @RGalbraith's first novel is going to be a TV drama on @BBCOne. He's very excited, but expressing it with characteristic silence.
— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) December 10, 2014 -- J.K. Rowling writes a cool crime/detective series under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith. They're fun and you should read them (there's only two out right now)!
-- The first book in the series, "The Cuckoo's Calling," is being made into a TV drama for BBC One.
-- It follows Cormoran Strike (a war vet turned P.I.) as he investigates the suspicious death of biracial supermodel Lula Landry. Along the way, Strike's temp, a young woman named Robin, becomes the Watson to his Holmes as the case plunges them into the twisted and often dangerous world of the rich and famous.
-- The series is being produced by Brontë Film and TV, which also adapted Rowling's "The Casual Vacancy" for a 3-part BBC/HBO miniseries set to air in February 2015.
