Some Saoirse Stuff #4

We begin this packed edition of SSS with Saoirse Ronan being nominated for the Young British Performer award by the LFCC (London Film Critics Circle) for her performance in The Grand Budapest Hotel. She also recently moved to London to focus on her career.



Additionally, her newest film, Brooklyn, also starring Bill Weasley Domhnall Gleeson, will premiere at Sundance next month. Based on the Colm Toibin novel of the same name, the author himself described her performance as "extraordinary."



Earlier this year, she was one of many celebrity ambassadors for ConnectIreland, an employment program which, according to the Irish Independent, "was set up as part of the government's 2012 Action Plan for Jobs, which aimed to get 100,000 people back to work by 2016 and ensure two million were at work by 2020."



And the kicker -- she made no bones about her disdain for Kim Kardashian's Paper cover: "She was naked. And it was not in a kind-of beautiful, kind-of artistic way. It was disgusting."
