Last night on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 8, a major beef was actually put to bed down in the dirty, dirty south. Which ladies made amends?
When Cynthia Bailey, NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams get together, that sets the stage for some must-see, awkward reality TV up in hurrrr.
It ended better than the last time Kenya and Porsha got together, though.
"I'm optimistic," said Bailey after NeNe asked her to drinks with Kenya and Porsha ... without mentioning that Kenya and Porsha would be there, conveniently.
The others weren't informed of the full guest list, either.
"I was not prepared to break bread with Kenya," Williams said on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 8, while Moore sensed what was up.
"Porsha's here. I called it," she announced.
Porsha Williams beating down Kenya Moore was not the only infamous altercation that needed rehashing, though. NeNe and Cynthia have their own issues.
Remember Bitch-Gate?
"You are confrontational. You're just doing it behind people's backs," NeNe said. "Don't ever punch somebody and think you're not gonna get punched back."
(Cynthia, not Porsha.)
"I don't feel like I punched you," Bailey said, but tried to bury the hatchet. "I am completely fine if you felt like I blindsided you … I want to go forward with you."
"I need time," Leakes said, half-seriously adding, "Maybe in a couple of years, we can go to lunch." But there was clearly a crack in these icy relations.
As for Kenya?
"You got this rude bitch on the end screaming," Porsha Williams exploded, as Moore and Bailey yelled over one another. "You're rude as a motherf--ker."
To say you could cut the tension with a knife would be an understatement.
When Moore got up from the table and made a beeline for Williams, we feared the worst. As NeNe put it, "For Kenya to get up, it's just never a good thing."
But it wasn't like that. Instead of a fist, Moore extended an olive branch.
"I just want to give you a hug to show you I'm being sincere," she said.
"What exactly are you being sincere about?" Williams responded.
"I take full responsibility for my part," said Moore.
"Can we move on? Can you give me a hug?"
"Let's wipe the slate clean," Moore added.
Williams refused to apologize, but they did hug it out ... as awkwardly as Apollo and Phaedra last week, as you know if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online.
Still, progress is progress, compared to ...
