Laura Michelle Kelly attended the after party for ‘Finding Neverland’ at the Metropolitan Club on Wednesday (April 15) in New York City, following her stellar performance on the opening night with co-star Matthew Morrison.
With the title being ‘Finding Neverland’ a fairytale princess gown was apt for the occasion, so she decked herself out in the frothiest gown she could find courtesy of Marchesa.
Hailing from the Fall 2015 collection, the one-shoulder ruffled tulle gown has me very much on the fence.
While I’m swept up by the romance of it all, a part of me feels like this look is very dated.
This could be partially due to the familiarity of the design, or partially because when it comes to modern fairytale gowns, this isn’t a patch on anything served up by Lily James on her ‘Cinderella’ tour.
