On this season’s Dancing With the Stars, Noah Galloway doesn’t seem to need much help beyond the coaching of pro partner Sharna Burgess. In the lead-in clip to the pair’s performance on Disney night last week, Burgess was shown calling Galloway a “princess” for not liking the way they looked in rehearsal. Burgess reminded him that their motto is to “focus not on what you can’t do but what you can.”
Whether or not he needs additional help, Galloway got it this week when Amy Purdy stopped by. DWTS fans will remember Purdy as the paralympic snowboarder who came in second place during season 18. Both athletes tweeted pictures of the meeting of the past and future contestant.

Galloway was notably moved by Purdy’s visit, judging from his Instagram caption.
“Look who dropped by and said hi, @amypurdygurl Well she said more than just “hi” this amazing person is a huge inspiration and is a huge light guiding my way in this competition. Her advice is priceless. Thank you so much for the encouraging words Amy. #lifewithoutlimits #TeamShway #NoExcusesNoah.”
In an interview with Men’s Health, Noah revealed a little bit more about what was behind that upset moment during rehearsal.
“To be honest, I never like how my dances look when I watch them back on video. I watch them once then never watch them again. It’s stupid that I do that, because I am missing my arm and my leg. And I don’t hide from that. I’m not ashamed of it. But then again, I want to see movement like everyone else. That’s just my perfectionist side coming out.”
Galloway also let fans know that on Monday there will be no elimination. That means that he and Burgess and the other remaining teams are due to stay around for at least two more weeks. It was recently reported that as of April 28th the Tuesday-night elimination episodes will be back. That means no more compressed Monday night episodes are contestants learn their fates and perform right away.
On Monday, Galloway and Burgess will perform one dance as a pair and a second dance as part of a team. They are part of team YOLO with Robert Herjavec, Willow Shields and Nastia Liukin.
