Rihanna is accused of bullying one of her own fan after she posted a couple of photos of Alexis Carter that the 16-year-old is none too thrilled about.
This began after Carter was inspired a Alexandre Vauthier jumpsuit Rihanna wore in 2010 decided to wear a similar one to her Hollywood-themed prom.
"I was like, 'Oh my God, I love this outfit. I wanna go with this outfit. Let me go show my mom!' And I was like, 'Mom, mom, mom, I wanna wear this!" Carter says.
"it's cool, I love it, oh my god,'" the student recalled saying.
So a family friend created the ensemble (above), which Carter loved and said received positive feedback in person. Soon enough, though, the bullying began.
Photos of her outfit began to circulate on social media. On Twitter, #PromBat trended, complete with altered photographs that mocked her jumpsuit.
Then Rihanna personally started piling it on!
The singer posted a photo of herself in the jumpsuit (with caption "IG") alongside a photo of Carter in hers (with caption "Real Life") and a sad face.
In another tweet, the oft-controversial star, who just broke up with Drake, posted a photo of the teen alongside the bat-like logo of the Wu-Tang Clan.
The Rihanna fan was not happy about it.
"I was very offended," Carter said afterward.
"Why throw shade on it when you had on the exact same thing? The poses was different but the outfit wasn't. She don't love her fans like she says she does."
Rihanna, meanwhile, has yet to comment on the controversy surrounding Carter via social media ... aside from posting the offending images, that is.
