Remember back in 2012 when Clueless actress Stacey Dash revealed that she was a Mitt Romney supporter and penned a three-page essay when he lost the presidential election? Remember last year when she slammed the president for “dividing” the country? How about when she lashed out at Oprah for comparing Emmett Till to Trayvon Martin? Or when she tweeted out her support for Paula Deen as the celebrity chef fought scandal after admitting to using the N-word?
Well all those tweets weren’t sent out in vain because the 47-year-old actress has joined Fox News as their newest contributor. Yep, the openly conservative star’s new gig will have her offering “cultural analysis and commentary” across a variety of the network’s daytime and primetime shows, much like she already does via her controversial Twitter account.
In a released statement, Stacey’s new boss cites her knack for standing out among the more liberal Hollywood crowd:
Stacey is an engaging conversationalist whose distinctive viewpoints among her Hollywood peers have spawned national debates – we’re pleased to have her join Fox News,” said Bill Shine, network executive VP news.
Since leaving the now-cancelled Single Ladies, Stacey has been positioning herself as a go-to talking head for political and social commentary. She’s already appeared as a guest panelist on The View, CNN’s Piers Morgan and, most recently, on Fox News’ Outnumbered.
Check out some of her more controversial tweets and comments below.

I haven’t heard much from anyone (including the people heaping insults my way) about the great things Obama HAS done for our country, like repairing the infrastructure of our highways, bridges and train rails and creating a lot of jobs by this program.
Proof that your Twitter can sometimes take place of your resume.
