Magazine Cover Models Still Overwhelmingly White in 2014

- A report on The Fashion Spot examined at the racial inclusivity of magazines in the past year (611 covers of 44 major print magazines)



- Out of those 611 covers, white models appeared 567 times and models of color appeared 119 times.



- "That's almost five times more covers for white models," Jihan Forbes of The Fashion Spot writes.



- The following magazines didn't feature even one model of color on their 2014 covers: the US and UK branches of Harper's Bazaar, Teen Vogue, Vogue UK, Vogue Netherlands, Vogue Paris, Vogue Ukraine, Vogue Russia, Numéro, LOVE, and Porter.
