Ireland Baldwin poses for her first-ever solo ad campaign for Rampage


Ireland Baldwin is standing behind her right to bare all. The 18-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger opened up to Cosmopolitan on her budding career as a model and her thoughts on the rules of social media.



"If you're up-and-coming, it's definitely important," Baldwin, who is the new face of Rampage's fall ads, told Cosmo about being active online. "It's a great way to market yourself and your personality and kind of build a fan base."



Baldwin admitted that she does think more nowadays before sharing something with her followers. "I'm starting to definitely think about what I post, especially in terms of my future, and work and everything. I used to be a bit more careless, but now I definitely sit there and really think about whether this is a good idea or not."



As for her thoughts on Instagram's nudity policy, she thinks it's "effing stupid."



"There are boobs and nipples all over Tumblr, all over Twitter, all over the world. Just walk around and there are boobs all over life. Instagram is just behind the times."







Baldwin said she joins other celebs in support of the #FreeTheNipple campaign and finds certain regulations towards women to be sexist.



"I had this conversation the other day with one of my best guy friends," she told Cosmo. "I said, 'It's so unfair that you get to walk around with your shirt off all the time, and women don't.' It's weird, you know? I saw Scout Willis's whole thing she did, she walked around New York City topless. I think that's so awesome."



Baldwin also commented to the magazine on another famous young model in the business, Kendall Jenner.

"I do think it's not fair that a lot of people perceive me, as well as someone like Kendall Jenner, as someone who was born into a particularly famous family," she said. "I don't think it's fair that they think because of our ‘silver spoon’ heritage, that we don't work hard. Because we do."



As far as Baldwin's love life goes these days, she recently has been romantically linked to rapper Angel Haze.

The singer confirmed she was dating the blond beauty in an interview with The Independent in late June. Baldwin told Cosmo ahead of Haze's comments that her parents don't always have to approve of her dates.



"I think I'm old enough," she said with a laugh.
