It’s just about one year since Keeping up with the Kardashians star, Khloe Kardashian, announced that she was divorcing her husband, Lamar Odom, after more than four years of marriage.
According to a RadarOnline report from today, the widely reported divorce, one year since it was filed, is off and is headed for dismissal due to inaction on the proceeding for such an extended period of time.
The publication reported that court documents show that in October, a notice of case review default was submitted by Judge Scott Gordon, notifying Khloe Kardashian that the divorce petition could be dismissed for failure to take any action in the case.
A source told Radar about the situation,
Khloe has been told by her attorney, Laura Wasser, that she could file a motion to have the divorce granted, even though Lamar hasn’t formally responded. Becoming legally divorced would allow Khloe to move on, while lawyers for the former couple hash out a financial settlement. However, Khloe has held off on taking that drastic step. She can never trust Lamar again, after being cheated on so many times, but she is becoming more and more despondent about her personal life.
So where does Khloe’s most recent boyfriend, French Montana come into things? Well, that isn’t so clear as one minute they are on and the other minute off, as the source revealed, “Khloe has said she doesn’t know if she will ever find true love again. It’s truly sad.”
Rumors of a potential reconciliation between Khloe and Lamar have also been raised recently, after she posted a cryptic message, seemingly about Odom, on his birthday, November 7, “Like time suspended, a wound unmended — you and I. We had no ending, no said goodbye. For all my life, I’ll wonder why.”
It’s well known that the couple are in telephone contact from time-to-time, but that doesn’t mean they are calling the divorce off and reconciling. Although if they do go ahead with divorce proceedings, there will no doubt be a lot of red tape for them to get through, on filing new paperwork.
