This year, One Direction continued to take over the world. The UK boy band became the biggest selling live act of 2014, so far anyway. (Drake knows this. Likely, so do you.) With its new album FOUR , it also had the second biggest opening sales week, edging out Coldplay. Its star power drew attention to the making of Band Aid 30′s latest charity single, “Do They Know It’s Christmas.” Its mock-serious music videos were viewed dozens of millions of times, while the rumors surrounding Harry Styles‘ love life became delightfully strange.

Next year, One Direction will do more of the same. As announced last night (November 29), in an ad that played during The X Factor‘s commercial breaks, the boy band will embark an 18-date UK and Ireland tour, titled On the Road Again. The first show is on June 6, at Cardiff, Wale’s Millennium Stadium, though the tour picks back up on September 24 with three consecutive dates at London’s O2. Tickets go on sale next Saturday, December 6.

“We’re very excited to go back to touring home, where it all started for us,” Niall Horan says in a follow-up video (above). See One Direction talk On the Road Again up top, then see the official tour commercial and dates below.
