It's no secret that Prince Harry loves spending time with children, but his latest encounter is definitely one for the books. On Monday, the prince attended the WellChild Awards in London, where he delivered an emotional speech to sick children and their families. "Watching these young people face challenges with such determination, positivity and good humor never fails to take my breath away . . . I am so fortunate to have had the chance of meeting you all and so proud to be associated with this fantastic charity," he said.
During the event, Harry showed off his playful side as he mingled with the kids and gave them hugs. He had an especially sweet encounter with a little boy named Ollie, who received the inspirational child award and was diagnosed with Battens Diseases, a rare genetic condition, at the age of two. Just add this to Harry's ongoing list of wonderful moments this year.
