James Franco Proves Movie Knowledge on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”

Love him or hate him, there’s a certain je ne sais quoi about James Franco, and last night (July 28) he charmed up a storm while visiting “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York City.

The “Palo Alto” hunk and Fallon both had fun taking pokes at each other and finally Jimmy invited James to play a new game called “5-Second Summaries.”

Essentially, the idea of the game is to describe the plot of a movie in five seconds while a partner successfully guesses the title of the film based on the description.

Franco flubbed “American Pie” (and dropped the f-bomb) before unsuccessfully explaining “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” and “Pineapple Express.”

However, when “Cast Away” came up, James simply shouted “Wilson!” proving himself to be a worthy competitor.
