SyFy struck gold with their original movie “Sharknado,” and last night (July 30) the network rolled out a much-anticipated sequel called “Sharknado 2: The Second One,” starring Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Kelly Osbourne, Andy Dick, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Matt Lauer.
Of course, some of our favorite stars were glued to their televisions, taking breaks during commercials to tweet their reactions to the crazy flick.
Star Ian Ziering posted a photo of himself inside a shark’s mouth with the caption, “1 last selfie..” while Tara Reid declared, “When something bites us we bite back.”
Country hunk Luke Bryan chimed in, “Can't believe we are watching sharknado 2,” and Mark McGrath shared, “Prepare for the #Sharknado2 shark storm with #Landshark...Turn today into a #Larksharknado!”
Eric Bolling asked, “After watching #Sharknado.. liberals going to start calling for background checks for chainsaws? Just wondering #2A,” and “30 Rock” star Judah Friedlander joked, “Thank you @SharknadoSyfy the Academy just texted me. Just got a Best Supporting Actor nomination for 2015. #Sharknado2TheSecondOne.”
And finally, Wil Wheaton tweeted, The other way to get rid of a sharknado is to make it say its name backwards. #Sharknado2.”
