2014 Young Hollywood Awards

There was a host of other young stars who joined Chloe Moretz on the red carpet for the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards held at The Wiltern on Sunday (July 27) in Los Angeles, California.

Belle Thorne: The Disney star opted for a head-to-toe all-pink look, wearing a ’60s-style mini dress accented with emerald crystals which she styled with platform pumps that also had a crystal accent to the heel. The only thing not blinging here was her Edie Parker clutch.

Vanessa Marano: The young star, who hosted the show, shunned the expected cutesy dress in favour of something more tailored, wearing a Skaist Taylor suit featuring a pink blazer with black peaked lapels. It takes a lot of great styling and finesse to pull off this look and to prevent it from coming off too mature, especially for someone so young. So going sans top and adding sexy Oscar Tiye sandals ensured this look was kept youthful.

Ashley Tisdale: The actress worked an all-silver look, donning a tulip-hem halter dress with metallic sandals and a matching clutch. Ashley’s style can often be très predictable, but the style of dress here, especially the length, is a refreshing change, edging her in a more grown-up direction.

Jessica Lowndes: The actress showcased a lot of skin, donning a crop top and micro-mini skirt from Three Floor featuring the brand’s signature zipper detailing. Gold accessories complemented the zippers, including a pair of Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals.

Anna Camp: The blonde beauty wore a blush-coloured Elisabetta Franchi Spring 2014 sleeveless dress with a lace bodice and a bow accent at the waist. While I love the contrasting animal-print pumps, there is something aging about this look. Perhaps it’s the hair.

Ariel Winter: Bringing a rush of colour to the red carpet, the actress wore a Kate Spade New York ‘Rio de Janeiro’ tropical-print peplum dress styled with white Aldo ‘Daeng’ sandals and a fuchsia satin clutch I wish she’d left at home.

Vanessa Hudgens: Working a sassy angle, the actress wore a denim halter crop top paired with a white pleated maxi skirt. Her luxe boho-inspired look was styled with a white feathered clutch and a whole heap of jewels, including an armful of bangles and rings on all fingers.

Marie Avgeropoulos: This all-black Olcay Gulsen jumpsuit with a leather bodice may have your sweat glands overexcited, but I’m more focused on her cool yellow Rupert Sanderson pumps.

Nikki Reed: Opting to skip the red carpet, Nikki Reed was spotted inside the venue wearing a black and white crop top and pencil skirt look with matching accessories including a white Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch and her favourite Jimmy Choo ‘Daiquiri’ pumps.
